Registration of the First Information Report against any individual or individual(s) does not prove their guilt for the said offense. The FIR are mandatorily registered in the Marathi language, which is not the first language of many, therefore, in order to enable them to read and understand the contents of the FIR, translated version of the FIR is provided on our website.
The First Information Report is described as “FIR” and it is registered as Crime Record (“CR”) number with the police department. The terms “FIR” and “CR” are one and the same.
