Leave granted.
The appellant Ritu Kumari was granted benefit of provisional bail vide order dated 22.01.2021 passed by the High Court, which direction was continued by this Court vide order dated 29.04.2021. It is stated that the appellant Ritu Kumari has cooperated in the investigation and the charge sheet has been filed. The appellant Ritu Kumari was earlier detained for a period of four months. We have also examined the supplementary affidavit relied upon by the prosecution, which is mentioned in the impugned order dated 24.02.2021.
In view of the aforesaid position, we are inclined to allow the present appeal and hereby confirm the interim order granting provisional bail to the appellant Ritu Kumari. The bail bond terms and other conditions imposed while grating provisional bail to the appellant will continue and apply.
2We clarify that the present order will not be treated as an expression of opinion on the merits of the case.
