UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following
O R D E R
The petitioner is before this Court assailing the order passed by the High Court on 15.02.2022 whereby the bail granted to the petitioner by the trial court has been cancelled. This Court, subsequent to notice being issued had granted interim protection on 02.05.2022. Pursuant thereto, the investigation is complete and the charge sheet has been filed.
In that view, at this stage, we see no reason to put the petitioner in custody at this stage. Since in any event if the charges are proved against him appropriate punishment would be imposed. In that view, the order dated 02.05.2022 is made absolute and the petitioner shall enjoy the benefit of bail subject to complying with all the conditions which were imposed by the trial court while granting bail on 19.02.2021.
In terms thereof, the special leave petition is disposed of.
Pending application (s) shall also stand disposed of.
