UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following
O R D E R
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner. Though, we note that the petitioner has been in custody for about 4 years and 4 months, at this stage it is not in dispute that the trial is at the verge of completion inasmuch as the examination of witnesses is complete. Hence, since it is at the fag end of the trial, we do not find it necessary to exercise our discretion to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.
Accordingly, the Special Leave Petition is disposed of.
Pending application(s) shall stand disposed of.
