O R D E R
The petitioner, by way of present special leave petition, has preferred a prayer for anticipatory bail.
Learned counsel for the respondent-State has vehemently opposed this prayer.
2Taking into consideration the fact that the petitioner has been granted interim protection by this Court on 18.10.2019, that is almost 3 (Three) years and 3 (three)months and there is no allegation that he did not cooperate with the investigation, we are inclined to confirm the interim protection granted by this Court on 18.10.2019.
In the event of arrest, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail in connection with FIR No. 123 of 2019 registered at Police Station Lateri, District Vidisha, Madhya Pradesh, subject to his executing bail bonds for a sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only) with one or two sureties in the like amount.
The special leave petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
Pending application(s), if any, shall stand disposed of.
