UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following

O R D E R
This is a petition seeking bail.

Mr. Ardhendumauli Kumar Prasad, learned Additional Advocate General for the State of U.P., vehemently opposed the petition. Taking into consideration the fact that the petitioner has been incarcerated for about eight and a half years and that the trial is yet to conclude, we are inclined to grant him bail.

Accordingly, the petitioner be released on bail in connection with Case Crime No.284 of 2014 to the satisfaction of the Trial Court.
The special leave petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
Pending application(s), if any, shall stand disposed of.
