UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following
O R D E R
The petitioner, by way of present special leave petition, has preferred a prayer for anticipatory bail.
2 Mr. Rishi Kumar Awasthi, learned counsel for the respondent-State has vehemently opposed this prayer. Taking into consideration the fact that the petitioner has been granted interim protection by this Court on 04.11.2022 and there is no allegation that he did not cooperate with the investigation, we are inclined to confirm the interim protection granted by this Court on 04.11.2022.
In the event of arrest, the petitioner be released on bail in connection with FIR No. 16/2022 registered at P.S. Fenhara, East Champaran, Bihar, subject to his executing bail bonds for a sum of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand only) with one or two sureties in the like amount.
The special leave petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
Pending application(s), if any, shall stand disposed of.
