Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, we are of the opinion that no ground for bail is made out. However, since charges have been framed and the petitioner has been in custody for three and a half years, the Trial Court is hereby directed to complete the proceedings expeditiously, preferably within 8 months from today.
The special leave petition is dismissed. Pending application(s), if any, stand disposed of.
