UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following
O R D E R
1 Counsel appearing on behalf of the State of Telangana states that there was some mis-communication as the certificate was routed to the wrong department.
2 On his request, two weeks time is granted so as to enable him to verify the contents of the juvenility certificate and to file a counter affidavit thereafter.
3 The respondent shall also clarify in the affidavit as to whether the claim of the petitioner for the grant of pre-mature release can be considered in terms of the extant policy of the State of Telangana since the petitioner has undergone seventeen years of imprisonment with remission.
4 List the Special Leave Petition on 27 January 2023.
