UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following
O R D E R
The petitioner seeks pre-mature release from the detention contending that he has already undergone more than 16 years imprisonment. Apparently, he has preferred a representation; however, no particulars have been furnished nor has any date been indicated in the pleadings. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court is of the opinion that it would be appropriate that the petitioner makes a fresh representation within two weeks.
1 In such event, the appropriate competent authority, empowered to decide application for pre-mature release shall decide it within six weeks from its receipt. The Writ Petition is disposed of in terms of the above observations.
