We have heard learned counsel for the parties. Considering the fact that the applicant has already undergone 17 years of incarceration including remission of 3 years and the fact that the disposal of appeal is likely to take time, we are inclined to release the applicant on bail. Accordingly, let the applicant be released on bail subject to such terms and conditions as the trial Court may deem it fit to impose. I.A. is allowed accordingly.
