UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following
O R D E R
The petitioners, by way of present special leave petitions, have preferred prayer for anticipatory bail. Mr. Siddharth Dharmadhikari, learned counsel for the respondent-State has vehemently opposed these prayers. Taking into consideration the fact that the petitioners have been granted interim protection by this Court on 13.05.2022, that is almost 9 months and that there is no allegation that he did not cooperate with the investigation, we are inclined to confirm the interim protection granted by this Court on 13.05.2022.
In the event of arrest, the petitioners are directed to be be released on bail in connection with Crime No. 54 of 2022 registered at Police Station Umarkhed, District Yavatmal, Maharashtra, subject to them executing bail bonds for a sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only) each with two sureties in the like amount. The special leave petitions are, accordingly, disposed of.
Pending application(s), if any, shall stand disposed of.
