O R D E R
The petitioner is unrepresented when the case is called.
2. Mr. Chirag M. Shroff, learned counsel appearing for the respondent-State would however point out that the petitioner is an accused in the case arising out of the FIR No. 558 of 2016 registered in the Police Station Ambedkar Nagar. The present matter pertains to the order passed by the High Court on 21.12.2016 in the Bail Application No. 2237 of 2016 (Annexure P/4) filed by the petitioner. The Court while granting conditional bail stipulated that the petitioner will not leave the country without prior permission of the Court.
3. The accused thereafter was granted permission to travel abroad on various occasions, by the concerned Court. This was noticed by the High Court in the impugned order dated 24.01.2019. The High Court therefore made the observation that the issuance of the Look Out Circular is not an impediment for the petitioner to travel abroad. Such observation is consistent with the permissions that were granted by the concerned court to facilitate the petitioners travel abroad, on various occasions.
4. In the above circumstances, we see no reason to keep this matter pending more particularly when the petitioner is not interested to pursue the matter. The Special Leave Petition is accordingly dismissed.
5. Pending application(s), if any, shall stand closed.
