UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following
O R D E R
The petitioner, by way of present special leave petition,
has preferred a prayer for anticipatory bail.
Taking into consideration the fact that the petitioner has been granted interim protection by this Court on 24.09.2019, that is almost 3 (Three) years and 4 (four) months and there is no allegation that he did not cooperate with the 2 investigation, we are inclined to confirm the interim protection granted by this Court on 24.09.2019. In the event of arrest, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail in connection with FIR No. 6 dated 24.10.2018 registered at Police Station NRI, Amritsar, Punjab, subject to his executing bail bonds for a sum of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand only) with one or two sureties in the like amount.
The special leave petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
Pending application(s), if any, shall stand disposed of.
