UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following
O R D E R
1. The Court is convened through Video Conferencing.
2. Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner as also learned Dy. Advocate General appearing on behalf of the respondent State.
3. Learned Dy. Advocate General submits that the petitioner did not appear before the Investigating Officer on 12.12.2022 despite a categorical direction issued by this Court in this regard on 05.12.2022. He further informs that the petitioner, in fact, has 2 gone to Canada in a clandestine manner without informing the Investigating Officer.
4. In view of the said conduct of the petitioner, we are not inclined to entertain this petition for grant of anticipatory bail to him.
5. The Special Leave Petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
6. Consequently, interim order dated 14.07.2022 granting interim protection to the petitioner is vacated.
7. As a result, pending interlocutory application stands disposed of.
