We are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. However, if the appeal of the petitioner is not heard by the Gujarat High Court and the petitioner completes eight years of incarceration, it would be open for him to apply afresh for grant of bail before the High Court.

The special leave petition is disposed of.
