O R D E R
Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.
The application for premature release made by the petitioner has been rejected by the Life Convicts Release Committee. As the petitioner is undergoing sentence for the offence punishable under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, at this stage, it is not possible to consider the prayer for grant of bail.

It will be always open for the petitioner to challenge the order refusing to grant permanent remission. In the event, the petitioner is granted permanent remission in the other offence or if the trial does not make any real progress till the end of this year, it will be open for the petitioner to make a fresh application for grant of bail before the High Court.
Subject to what is observed above, the Special Leave Petition is dismissed.
Pending application, if any, also stands disposed of.
