UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following
O R D E R
Heard the learned senior counsel appearing for the parties.
The impugned order dated 19.05.2022 grants bail to the respondent No. 2. We do not think that on merits, any interference is called for with the said order after examining the antecedents of the second respondent.
No case for interference is made out in exercise of our jurisdiction under Article 136 of the Constitution of India. The Special Leave Petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
If it is found that the second respondent has misused the liberty granted under the impugned order, it will be open for the petitioner and respondent No. 1-State to apply to the High Court for cancellation of bail.
Subject to what is observed above, the Special Leave Petition is dismissed.
Pending application(s), if any, shall stand disposed of.
