Heard the learned counsel appearing for the appellant and the learned counsel appearing for the respondent-Union Territory of Chandigarh.
The learned counsel appearing for the Central Burearu of Investigation states that as of now the said agency is not investigating the offence registered against the appellant. The said statement is taken on record. The application for impleadment is accordingly disposed of.
The co-accused has been enlarged on bail. Accordingly, we direct that the appellant shall be enlarged on bail.
For that purpose, the appellant shall be produced before the Trial Court within a period of one week from today. The Trial Court shall enlarge the appellant on bail on appropriate terms and conditions.
The appeal is accordingly allowed.
