UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following
O R D E R
We have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned ASG Ms. Aishwarya Bhati appearing for the respondent-Agency.
Learned ASG appearing for the respondent submitted that if some time is granted a status report would be filed before this Court in order to establish the link or nexus between the offences
in respect of which the bail was granted by the High Court and the investigation which has now been entrusted to the respondent-Agency and on the basis of which the bail granted by the High Court has been cancelled by the impugned order.
In response to this submission, learned counsel for the petitioner stated that as of now the petitioner has not been summoned by the respondent-Agency. However, the bail granted to him by the High Court in respect of offences which have occurred within the jurisdiction of the Punjab and Haryana High Court have been simply cancelled.
Hence, the petitioner is willing to join any investigation that is to be made by the respondent-Agency provided some protective orders are made.
In the circumstances, no coercive steps shall be taken as against the petitioner herein till the next date of hearing subject to the petitioner cooperating with the investigation being made by the respondent-Agency.
