UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following
O R D E R
1. The petitioner has been incarcerated in custody in the present case for more than 5 years awaiting disposal of his appeal by the High Court.
2. Taking into consideration the fact that the co-accused, namely, Prithvi Singh and Pardipt, who were alleged to be having a factory from where a huge consignment of contraband drugs was recovered, have also been granted the benefit of bail, we are inclined to grant the bail to the petitioner. 3. The petitioner is directed to be released on bail in connection with F.I.R. No. 173 dated 18.09.2013 registered at P.S. Shambu, District Patiala (Punjab), on such terms and conditions as may be deemed fit by the Trial Court.
4. The Special Leave Petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
5. Pending application(s), if any, shall also stand dispose of.
