UPON hearing the counsel, the Court made the following
O R D E R
In the peculiar facts of the present case, we are not inclined to interfere with the impugned judgment as it is brought to our 1 notice that as many as 11 accused have been granted bail. The orders granting bail have not been challenged. We, however, request the trial court to expedite and conclude the trial on or before 30.12.2023. We clarify that this order dismissing the special leave petition and the orders granting bail will influence the decision of the trial court or the application(s) statedly filed for cancellation of bail.
The parties, including the accused, will cooperate and in case the accused, who have been granted bail, take adjournments, the trial court may pass appropriate orders, including in case of non- appearance an order cancelling the bail. Recording the aforesaid, the special leave petition is dismissed.
Pending application(s), if any, shall stand disposed of.
