UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following
O R D E R
The petitioners, by way of present special leave petition, have preferred a prayer for anticipatory bail. Learned counsel for the respondent-State as well as 2
learned counsel for the complainant have vehemently opposed this prayer.
We have granted interim protection vide order dated 29.04.2022 to the petitioners. Though, Mr. Shailesh Madiyal learned counsel for the State submits that the petitioners did
not extend cooperation with the investigation but he fairly states that the investigation is almost complete. With that view, we see no reason as to why the interim protection should not be confirmed. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail is allowed. In the event of arrest, the petitioners be released on bail in connection with FIR No. 92 of 2021 registered at Police Station Bani, Kathua, Jammu, subject to his executing bail bonds for a sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five only) with two sureties in the like amount.
The special leave petition is, accordingly, disposed of. Pending application(s), if any, shall stand disposed of.
