1] Applicant is seeking bail in C.R. No. 17/2017 registered with respondent Police Station for offence punishable under Sections 406, 409, 420, 464, 467, 468, 120-B of the Indian Penal Code.

2] The role attributed to the applicant is, recommending the loan proposal without proper scrutiny as per S.O.P. of the bank.

3] Admittedly, applicant at the relevant time was armed with authority to sanction the loan claim of about Rs. 4 Crores. The fact remains that applicant only recommended the proposal and has not sanctioned the same. Since last more than one year, he has suffered incarceration.

4] In that view of the matter, prayer for bail can be granted.

(i) Applicant be released on bail in C.R. No. 17/2017 registered with respondent Police Station for offence punishable under Sections 406, 409, 420, 464, 467, 468, 120-B of the Indian Penal Code upon furnishing P.R. bond in the sum of Rs. 25,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount.

(ii) Applicant shall neither influence the prosecution witnesses in any manner nor tamper with the evidence.

5] Application stands disposed of.

6] In view of disposal of bail application, intervention application stands disposed of.
