ORDER
1.

This is an application for bail.

2.

Perused the application and say filed by the learned PP.

Heard the learned Advocate for the applicant and learned PP.

The learned Advocate for the applicant submits that the applicant
is permanent residence of Mumbai. He has no criminal antecedent. He
is public servant, so there is no possibility of tampering the prosecution
witness at the hands of applicant.

On the other hand, the learned PP submits that the investigation

is in progress, if the applicant is released on bail, there is likelihood of
tampering the prosecution witness/evidence at the hands of applicant.

Considering the submissions of the learned Advocate for the
applicant and the learned PP and on going through the ground
mentioned in the application, I hold that the application is deserves to
be allowed because the applicant is permanent residence of Mumbai
and he is public servant. So there is no possibility of flee of the accused.
The conditions can be imposed on the applicant, so that he shall not
tamper with the prosecution witness/evidence. So considering this fact,
I proceed to pass the following order.
Order
1. Bail Application No.71 of 2017 is allowed.
2. Accused Shakindra Shankar Lokhande be released on furnishing
P.R. bond of Rs.25,000/­ (Rs. Twenty Five Thousand only) with
one or two sureties in the like amount.
3. The
accused
shall
not
tamper
with
the
prosecution
witness/evidence.
4. The accused shall attend before the Investigating Officer in the
office of C.B.I., Mumbai on every Monday in between 11.00 am.
to 1.00 pm. till further order.
5. The accused is permitted to deposit cash of Rs.25,000/­ in the
Court in lieu of surety for the period of one months. The cash
amount be accepted after treasury hours.
Bail Application No.71 of 2017 stands disposed of.
