Read the application.

Heard. It appears that the appellant/accused is convicted by
the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 6th Court, Mazgaon, Mumbai
in
CC
No.0603142/SS/2019
on
30/05/2022
and
thereby
convicted to the accused/appellant under Section 138 of
Negotiable Instruments Act and he is sentenced to pay fine of
Rs.20,00,000/­ in default to suffer Simple Imprisonment for 3
months. The said amount is awarded as a compensation to the
complainant Harshad Bhanji Dedhia.

It appears that appellant/accused has filed the abovesaid
appeal well within limitation therefore, it is admitted. It is not in
dispute that the appellant was on bail during trial, so also, even
after conviction he is released on bail. Since, the appeal is
admitted, it is just and desirable to release the appellant on bail,
during the pendency of appeal. Hence, following order:
ORDER
1.

Bail Application No.1563/2022 is allowed.

2. The Appellant/Accused Mihir Kauntey Tanna, be released on
bail on furnishing PR Bond of Rs.15,000/­ with one surety of like
amount OR on depositing cash amount of Rs.15,000/­ as a security
during the pendency of appeal.
3.

Concerned Magistrate be informed accordingly.

4.

Thus, Bail Application No.1563/22 stands disposed of.
