ORDER
The appellant/orig.accused has filed application for bail.
The applicant is convicted by order dated 18.6.2022 passed by the
Learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 56th Court, Mazgaon (Sewri),
BA 1769/2022 in Cri.Appeal No.412/2022

Mumbai, in C.C.No.5603401/SS/2018 for the offence punishable under
Section 138 of Negotiable Instrument Act, 1881. He has filed appeal
against said judgment.

Heard Ld. Advocate for the appellant and respondent.

Perused impugned order. The offence is punishable under
section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881. The appeal will take
its own time to ripe for final hearing. Nothing will gain by keeping the
appellant/orig. accused behind the bar. He was on bail during trial.
Looking to the aforesaid circumstances, appellant/orig. accused is
entitled to grant bail Thus, I proceed to pass the following order:­
ORDER
1.

Bail Application No. 1769/2022 is allowed.

2.

Appellant/Orig. Accused Devang Chimanlal Parekh be released
on
executing P.B and S.B. of Rs.15,000/­(Rupees Fifteen Thousand
Only) with surety in the like amount.
3.

Bail Application No. 1769/2022 stands disposed of accordingly.
